The day this was taken Gemma turned 8 weeks old! She is finally smiling at us pretty easily and I just love her to death! She is sleeping 6 hours consistently too! I am loving this little girl!

She came on Wednesday September 23rd, pretty quickly and easily!! We didnt have to wait too long! She ended up being 2 weeks and 2 days early, and everything went so good. We have loved having a baby around and she is so sweet. Also it's our 8th wedding anniversary tomorrow!

My sister Brynne came to take some pictures of Gemma, I took some with my piece of crap camera. But she did look cute! Ill post more of what Brynne did when she is done with them!!

So this is really random that I decided to post this, after like what 3 months, but have any of you heard that Radio add, type thing. It starts off some girl saying, " oh my gosh have you guys seen Becky's butt?" We'll just about 2 minutes ago, while I was in my own world, I heard Porter say, "have you seen Becky's butt?" (then he laughs) I say POOOORTER. (Thinking he is talking about Becky, my cousins butt) then he finishes the commercial and says, "IT LOOKS SO GOOD!" If any of you have heard this on the radio, it then goes on to say her butt looks good because of the Laguana Beach jeans she is wearing..... Did I have any idea Porter was even paying the teeniest attention to the radio? No.......BUT NOW I DO!!!! Really, This kid will do ANYTHING to get a laugh.....Yes I am very nervous for highschool.

I am lucky my kids like Halloween as much as I do. They went to the dentist yesterday and I told them if they were good, they could pick a prize at the store. This is what they chose, and really they had a huge choice, all of walmart. Halloween always has some nasty, funny stuff at Halloween time! This one almost made me gag though! Porter thought it was hilarious. He wants to take it to preschool for show and tell. Probably not.

My sister Megan asked if she could have my kids for a couple days for a sleepover, and I was so nice and told her yes....during this time without kids, I really wasnt sure what to do with myself! So my mother in law said to start a project, and I did just that. I started in Marli's room, I bought the paint and really wasnt sure what my plan was at this point. Im still not sure what made me decide to try the stripes. I really like them and so do my kids, but they take A LONG time! Yes, I realize the date on the pictures is wrong. My camera dies so often that I dont care enough to reset the date every picture.....so sorry.....
Todd also finished the yard while the kids were gone! It is the best thing ever to finally have grass! We had a lot of guys from our ward show up to help and so did some of Todds brothers! Thanks guys.

Slick 50, snorting cocaine(not me) getting kicked out of girls camp(was that just me), wart, choking on strawberries, raiding your moms food storage, becky blowing out your match, skinny dipping, and lastly the annoying beeping sound at 6 am!! We stayed a night up at the "Girls Home" in Mantua. We had a dodge ball tournement, made smores, did the slip n slide, and watched movies till late! It was fun! Thanks Kenny and Mary Ellen for inviting us! Ashton and Dalton hanging out where it was cool, by the big old fan!
This slip n slide was the best thing ever! The kids loved it and so did I! I did my first slide head first and landed in the pile of mud at the end! Chad followed me later on and had some fun in the mud too!
Can you "GUESS THE BISCHOFF?" It will be tricky, they all like to take naps, where ever they are, this person was asleep when I took the picture......Look closely......who is it???Those are some nice abs!!!!!

We had a busy month of August.. I finished up the summer classes at the peak, teaching gymnastics(dont laugh) The kids were so fun! I usually get really sick of them after a few months, but I was kinda sad to see them go. I teach six classes, we forget the picture of one class! I really like the Peak. My kids will go to preschool there this fall. I am there only 6 hours a week and I really like it.

These boys were wild. Thats all I can say.

I guess it's time I admit to everyone I have a problem. I have a horrible obsession. Today I thought I would just hurry and vaccum my carpet, and not take the extra time to make the lines in the carpet......I couldnt do it. I had to go through the house and make the lines that I love so much....I think it's one of my favorite things. I love it, it looks nice and clean. I wouldnt say Im a "clean freak." But I do like my house to be clutter free and things to have a place.
The problem is, It only last a little while! See the lines are disapearing!!!!
I usally do it at night so it will stay like this for a while. I love to wake up to a clean house and the lines sucked into my carpet. I am a carpet freak.

On Pioneer day I went with two of my neighbors to THE DARK KNIGHT!!! I had been really wanting to see it! I love scary movies, which this one was so creepy! The joker was really creepy and I was loving it! Later that night we had a little barbeque with the Hall's and Peterson's. Our kids love to play together and looking at the picture, I think they had fun.... Kamryn, Porter, Kade, and Marli. Bradlee was running around somewhere

Our yard has just really been a pain in the butt. It has been a lot of work(for Todd) and it's finally about time for grass!! I cant tell you how excited me and my kids will be when that day is here!

Porter loved the Lazy river! He was always about 20 feet behind his cousin's, but he was so cute floating all alone! Some of our group, Bruce and Mia are in Utah for a little while, so we all met at Cherry Hills! It's always fun seeing them and their cute kids!
A really good picture of me and Marli, I had just gotten soaked on the cardiac canyon. That slide is rough on you. I got thrown off my tube and slammed into the walls the whole way down.

Marli at the dentist! This girl's name is Lindsay, and she is from Brigham city! She was so good, Marli wasnt scared one bit, she loved the dentist! Look at the cute pink chair..
Nice clean teeth and a new toothbrush! She was a happy girl!
Porter was brave too! He picked orange flavored flouride and said it was really good! This lady made sure she had her mask on. Good thing.
Porter laying back watching Jungle Book! They played these movies and the screen was in the ceiling, and Porter loved the cool headphones. We loved Dr. Doug and his "helpers!" Marli has to have a root canal...Has anyone else had a kid so young have anything like this done??They told us she will have to have it done at the hospital and will be put under while they work on her tooth....Im not so sure. But the dentist office was so fun and my kids keep asking to go back to the dentist.

Our 4th of July weekend in Bear Lake

We had so much fun this weekend! I love being in Bear Lake Valley for the 4th! I always loved it growing up there! I forgot my camera when we went to the lake and the awesome Paris parade! My kids got a lot of candy, we were suprised! Porter, Todd, Merinn, Austin and Jake rode in the back of Brad's truck to go fishing! Porter was loving it!
Isnt Bo so cute! He has grown up a lot lately! His band "Last Chance Lane Change" played at the park after the fireworks in Montpelier! They are so fun to listen to!

Marli was so fun to watch last night! I had the hardest time taking pictures because I was laughing so hard! She would wave at us and say "Hi mommy, Hi daddy." It was seriously the cutest thing ever! Todd kept saying, "I think she's good!" She knew quite a bit, and she is only two!! It was so fun!Marli and her dance teacher, Mitzi! Marli LOVES Mitzi, and she is so good with the little girls! I think Marli wishes Mitzi was her grandma, so she could see her more often!
Porter was pretty good through the recital, considering we were there almost 4 hours! He gave her flowers at the end, and Marli kept saying she was such a princess!

Todd's parents, Kenny and Mary Ellen, made it home from their mission in Texas today! I had just taped the sign up and turned around and they drove right around the corner, PERFECT TIMING! We are so excited to have them home, living just a few blocks away! Im sure your all thinking, "wow, did she do the sign all by herself?" The answer is yes, spelling and all! After it had been up for 6 hours, everyone brought to my attention, that I still dont know how to spell my last name. Maybe next year I'll have it right, you would think after 7 years of spelling it day after day, I would get it right!!!! Anyhow, Welcome home Ken and Mary Ellen!!!!

Weekend in Bear Lake!

This weekend we were in Bear Lake staying in a condo at Ideal Beach! We had a lot of fun hanging out and relaxing!Our kids had so much fun with Brynlee and Jace! They were dancing and laughing so hard!

Okay...Right now, Im not sure what I think! I know it felt great and I love my feet to be rubbed, poor Todd gets so sick of it! For Valentines day Todd got me an hour massage. I was nervous, cause I was wanting a girl, but they were booked for a full month, except for this one cancellation, with a guy......The lady was so nice and talked to me about how professional they are and how they would make me feel comfortable. So I agreed....Todd wasnt so sure!!! Anyway, I went and it was awesome, but the part where he rubbed up the back of my leg,(and part of my butt) was a little awkward! Im sure he felt me tighten up real quick! For sure next time I go I will have a female do it. Im not saying this guy was some nasty old perv, he was super nice and very professional. Just next time I may be a little more relaxed with a woman!!! But oh my, how I love massages, I think Ill make it my new hobby.

We hope you have a good day today...and hopefully the weather was perfect for you...it is pretty cool here today! Mary Ellen is in Texas on a mission and we have missed them a lot! My kids love going over there, and she is such a good grandma to them. She always has fun things to do with them! She always is thinking of ways to help other people, even attempting to help me learn to sew! For a while we were in the same ward, and everyone always would say" if only all of us could be like Mary Ellen." She is always doing good things for everyone else. She has raised 7 kids and everyone one of them has done good things with their lives. My husband is so helpful and great, thanks to Mary Ellen and the things she taught him....Have a good day, we wish we were closer to celebrate with you!!

......your all sick of seeing "Get Together." I am too, so I am finally posting again! My poor Marli has been so sick last week. It got kinda scary, but she is finally feeling better....this picture below, is what she did for a full week. It was so sad..... I also posted some pictures of the past couple weeks!

We went to Disney on Ice which was a Princess theme, as you know, Marli was sick, but I had paid for the tickets weeks before, so Todd stayed with Marli, and I really had to talk Porter into going.. He kept saying " It's for girls." I dont remember how or what I bribed him with, but he agreed to go! Doesnt he look happy!!
He was loving the cotton candy...he almost grew himself a cotton candy beard! Those of you who read Tyra's blog heard this story, but I have to tell it! The finale was so neat! They had all the princess's come out and Cinderella was in this pretty carriage, there were fireworks and all this pretty stuff, everywhere! I was evening oooing and ahhhaing, I remember asking Brynne if she had chills, cause I did!!!All the sudden Porter in this high girly voice says " Oh my heck! I hate all of them!" My first reactions was " hey dont say that, that is so mean." After laughing about it with Brynne, we decided that I should be proud. Thats exactly what a 4 year old boy should say at a Princess on Ice!
Marli and Misha had the exact same skirt on, on Sunday, We laughed when Tyra stopped by to give us cookies, and the girls were wearing the same thing!! This was their pose for the camera!
Dying Easter eggs. We had Luke and Riley over, and did easter eggs! They all were amazed by each egg that turned a new color! It was pretty fun, and yes , Riley wore her helmet for a couple hours straight. She must need extra protection from Porter when she's here!!

I invited Chad and his new girlfriend, Joanna, over for dinner on Sunday! I hadnt met her and I wanted to. I alson invited Rich and Tyra, and Jeremy and Callee. We decided to just do it at Mary Ellens house, since their on a mission, that has turned into our gathering place! This is Joanna and Chad, I really like Joanna! She seemed laid back and easy to talk to! She was so nice and so sweet, Im so glad I finally got to meet her!

All of our kids play pretty well together, they just followed eachother around the house and played! Im so glad to have some family close to where we live!

Today was my dads Birthday! We got together after church at my sister Brynne's new apartment and Tim cooked out for us! My dad will not smile and look at the camera, he hates it! He is a good dad and a fun grandpa, my kids love to see him! We hope he likes the new guitar!! Tim cooking.......

I am so sick of kids that wont sleep in their own beds. Seriously, we decided to put Marli in a big girl bed, ( my sisters will think thats another reason that I could be pregnant, Im not) so we took down her crib. Ever since that night I want to die...she screams, so loud, finally last night Todd got up and shut her in her room, and closed our door. She screamed for a couple hours! How sad, but Im sorry if it makes me a bad mom, it's our bed, and I dont want my kids in it!! Any one got any good advice on keeping kids in their own room??? Ill pay you for you advice! Sorry too tired lately for any pictures of this post.

At bedtime tonight Porter and Marli wanted to give eachother a "Love," that means hug at our house, before bed. Marli will never smile for the camera, so I thought this was so sweet! They are both at such a fun age right now. I dont want either one to get any bigger.

Porter turned 4 on October 9th! We had a fun party at a place where I teach gymnastics, called "The Peak!" They let you rent out the playland, and the gymnastic room, which has trampolines, and a lot of fun things to climb, roll, and hang from! It was a lot of fun, thanks to all of you that came! He had such a good day!

Our 6 Year Anniversary

Sorry, I have a lot of catching up to do, October 4th was our 6th Anniversary...It seems like Ive known Todd my whole life, but these 6 years have gone by so fast. It kinda makes me sad! Anyway, Todd was in charge of the plans this year, we decided to switch years of who plans what we do, this was his year. So he took me to the Anniversary Inn. We stayed the night we got married, and have stayed there a few other times. This time the room theme was "Pirates Paradise!" Oh, and was it! I wont go into detail, I dont want to make all you girls jealous!!! No but seriously, it was a really cool room, the pictures arent great cause the room was dark. There is a journal in the room that people can write in when they stay...I decided I better read it after we had our fun in the room. It ended up that we knew 3 of the couple that had written in there....Gross!!!! We had a good time! Thanks Brynne for keeping our kids over night!!!

GIARDIA

Yes I have giardia. I have been sicker than a dog for the past 4-5 days. Finally last night we went to an instacare because I was losing a lot of weight. So we go there and they hooked me up to an IV and I got to leave a poo sample, and today they called and said I tested positive for Giardia. This is the second time Ive had it in 4 years. Maybe I need to quit drinking out of streams or something! I am feeling much better today, and Im being treated. I have to thank my good old friend Tami for helping me out so much lately she has been a lifesaver. And Tyra for listening to me complain, oh yeah, my sisters too, but they always listen to me complain!It sounds like Im winning an Emmy award or something, and last but notleast...Todd, seriously, he has been so sweet. He has been such a good daddy, while I lay like a fat turd on the couch! He is so good to help!

This cute little kitty sat at my front door meowing FOREVER, seriously, like 3 hours. I finally let it in, and my kids fell in love with it..atleast Marli did. Porter said it stunk, but I called Todd, and told him, and he freaked out saying to not let it in the house......It was too late for that. Todd hates cats, but the funny thing is, I think I hate them more, but I felt bad for this one. It was so little still. But we ended up calling Perry city and 2 nice policemen came and took her to the animal shelter. As they were leaving I ask what happens to them, and he said they usually put them to sleep. I almost cried. I shouldnt have called them. I should have just thrown it in the field, and hoped another family would be nicer than we were.

Okay I have to explain these pictures. My sister Brynne, ALWAYS has this perfect camera smile, we make fun of her because me and Megan always look so stupid in pictures. So she tried to teach us what she does......she closes her eyes and when you count to three you open your eyes and someone takes the picture. It didnt work....as you can see.

Porter is such a show off! Im a bad mom, most moms were sad and had a hard time leaving their kids. I was shouting for joy! He loves every second of it, and to my suprise the teachers are thinking he is great!

This is Porter and his "best friend" Riley! They are in the same class and after class the first thing they did was hold hands and start begging me and Tami to let them play! They are pretty cute!

Family Reunion

We had the Nelson family reunion this past Saturday. It's one of those you dont really want to go, but feel like you should. We knew like 6 people and they were my sisters and my dad. And everyone else there we didnt know and everyone just sits with their own family, who they already know. It's just so much fun.

I wish I had a better picture of this. Porter is the 3rd one over from the right. This ride was for "big kids", but Porter wanted to go on it so bad. Finally I let him. It was the funniest thing. Me and Todd were laughing so hard. Before the ride started all the kids on the ride were giving him five and saying how cool he was. He just loved that! By the way this is at the good old Box Elder County Fair!

This is Todd out in the hole in our backyard. Many of you have tried talking Todd out of digging a hole for our trampoline, by hand. Well he did take your advice, we paid someone to do it, but this guy while digging a hole, busted a irrigation pipe that was in our backyard. So, Todd spent most of the night trying to fix that....by hand! We have great luck.

We went to the Tree House museum in Ogden with my friend Tami! This is the tea party room. Each room has a really fun theme and its a hands on type thing!

It was my brother in law, Tim's Birthday, so we decided to go to a waterpark! My mom stayed with our kids and we got to go without them! We had a blast!
